If you are like me, the name Peter Schiff doesn’t really ring a bell. He was the economic adviser to Ron Paul as he was running for President, but even then his name didn’t come up. I’m not much into stocks and the like (as if I had money for that), but after seeing this video the name Peter Schiff is forever etched into my memory as someone who knows what they’re talking about.

There is some more footage in the related videos area on YouTube. Interesting stuff.

Baraka

There are two things going on in this video. First, this is a clip from a movie titled Baraka. The film was shot on locations across the world on 65 mm film and the film is nearly silent, with just music creating an auditory landscape. There is no plot or story outside of the pictures and the music, which brings me to my second point.

Much emotion is conveyed through Baraka, primarily through the interplay of the images and the music they are set to. In this clip below we see images set to one of the finest bands to ever walk this Earth, Dead Can Dance. I highly recommend checking out the film and also exploring Dead Can Dance’s music. I believe there is something there to be found by everyone.

I Lied, More Politics

But this is from Ron Paul, which means I get a free pass.
